Sure, this one's got "boogie" in the title – but don't let that scare you off! The album's carved in the same hard funky style as mid 70s hits like "Hollywood Swinging" or "Jungle Boogie" (both from earlier albums) – and in fact, the "boogie" in the title seems to be a definite reference to that latter track, which is aped a bit on the album, instead of the more common 70s use of the term for disco. Whew! That's a bit of a complicated explanation – but we're just trying to tell you that this one's still plenty funky, with loads of great drums, jazzy riffing, monster basslines, and even a dose of righteous soul!
